Patrick Williams is a poet and academic librarian living in Central New York. Recent work appears in publications including Vinyl, Bennington Review, Glittermob, Noble / Gas Qtrly, Heavy Feather Review, and elsewhere. His chapbook Hygiene In Reading (Publishing Genius, 2016) was selected as the winner of the 2015 Chris Toll Prize.

Patrick holds a B.A. in English from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Information Studies from the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses creative writers' online reading and writing practices, social interaction, and what we can learn from the systems that support them. Patrick has worked as a graphic designer, an information architect, a community technology consultant, and a dj.
